Now, on to the good stuff! I introduce you to.....Harmony! Amy has really created a wonderful theme with these angels of peace, love, joy and happiness! Perfect for this holiday season! I did something little different with Harmony in that I paper pieced her dress, which I have never done before. I used a embossing pen and outlined the swirls and then heat embossed with UTEE ( for those that don't know UTEE is Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel). I just wanted to try something a little different than just coloring everything all the time, so I would love any feedback on this! You can't really see it in the picture but I added Spica pen to both the horn and wings.
Please make sure you check out the other Sweet November Gal's blogs. I'm sure that Amy, Nancy, and Marion have created something awesome to share with you today. Remember there will be a chance to win to the new release each day. All you have to do is leave comments on the Sweet November Gals' blogs (winners will be announced on Amy's blog blog on Saturday, Oct. 6th). All of the stamps will be available for purchase in the All That Scraps's Store on October 5th.
Thanks so much for taking a peek at my card today! Please feel free to continue to follow my blog even after I am no longer a guest gal for Sweet November stamps.....hee hee!

WOW you did an Amazing job at paper piecing her dress. Congrats. Love your card too!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Love her hair and the paper piecing. Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely beautiful! I would love to see another hair tutorial - but with a smaller image. I can't get tiny brushstrokes like you did with a really small image. I'd love to see how you do it when you don't have as much "space" to work in!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty--I like your paper piecing and the bling in her hair.
ReplyDeleteOooh, the gems in her hair are a neat touch!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I love that we both seemed to have the same vision of Harmony with her blond hair and red dress! :)
ReplyDeleteYour paper piecing looks fantastic and the bling that you added to her hair is such a pretty touch. Thank you so, so much for all of the lovely cards you've made for this release Marcy, I'm honored to have had you join us!
