Sweet November Stamps Preview Day Three Angel Harmony

Good morning all!  I sure hope you all have enjoyed the past few days of the Sweet November October previews and that I have given you some inspiration too!  Today marks the last day of my guest appearance and before I introduce you to the newest image, I want to sincerely thank the creator of these wonderful images, Amy Young, for this wonderful opportunity she has given me!  I have had a blast working along side of her and her Sweet November Gals, Marion and Nancy!

Now, on to the good stuff!  I introduce you to.....Harmony!  Amy has really created a wonderful theme with these angels of peace, love, joy and happiness! Perfect for this holiday season!  I did something  little different with Harmony in that I paper pieced her dress, which I have never done before.  I used a embossing pen and outlined the swirls and then heat embossed with UTEE ( for those that don't know UTEE is Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel).  I just wanted to try something a little different than just coloring everything all the time, so I would love any feedback on this! You can't really see it in the picture but I added Spica pen to both the horn and wings.

Please make sure you check out the other Sweet November Gal's blogs. I'm sure that AmyNancy, and Marion have created something awesome to share with you today.  Remember there will be a chance to win to  the new release each day.  All you have to do is leave comments on the Sweet November Gals' blogs (winners will be announced on Amy's blog blog on Saturday, Oct. 6th).  All of the stamps will be available for purchase in the All That Scraps's Store on October 5th.

Thanks so much for taking a peek at my card today!  Please feel free to continue to follow my blog even after I am no longer a guest gal for Sweet November stamps.....hee hee!

Sweet November Stamps Preview Day Two Angel Noelle

Good morning everyone and welcome to day two of the Sweet November stamps preview for October.  Today I would like to introduce you to a very sweet new angel called Noelle.  She is so precious!  Just sitting there holding her little lamb without a care in the world!  Wow!  I wish I could feel as peaceful as she looks!  My card for today is a little subdued for me.  I usually put a lot of flowers and other embellishments on my cards but this time I really wanted to keep the focus on sweet Noelle.

BTW.....I am still trying to learn how to do pleats so don't look to closely....haha!

Sweet November Stamps Guest Gal Snowflake Fairy Neva

Hello my fellow crafters and Copic lovers!  What a wonderful weekend we had!  Just a little bit of rain but then the sun came out and it tuned out beautiful!

Today I am so excited to share with you a card I completed for a spotlight that is being done on me through Amy Young, creator of Sweet November Stamps.  You can check it out at here.  Every summer my family goes to Lake Chelan for vacation.  I met Amy a couple years ago and I have been so fortunate to have colored with her a couple of times.  This past summer she asked me if I would be a guest designer (a Sweet November Gal)  for her stamps for October.  I was so elated....of course I said yes!  It has been a long wait since then but we are finally here, so without further adieu.....

This image is called Snowflake Fairy Neva.   I just love all of the Sweet November stamps, but this one especially caught my eye as I love the peacefulness of snow and the beauty of this girl combined with the snowflake just melts my heart.

Garden Easel Card Cornish Heritage Farms

Hello fellow bloggers and followers!  Today I have a card I created on commission for my sister in law.  She asked me to do something "gardening" so this is what I came up with.  I found a great digital image at Cornish Heritage Farms called Garden Chair which I used as my focal point.  I created a Telescoping Image by printing the image twice and coloring both images.  There are lots of tutorials out there for this but maybe some day I will create my own.  In the end I created an easel card (sorry, some of the pictures are a little crooked).

Copic markers; copic coloring, handmade cards, spellbinders; wild orchid crafts; cornish heritage farms cards; copic colored cards
Side view of the easel card.

Close up of the Wild Orchid Craft flower embellishments and my handmade hat pin.

Sentiment - Stampin' Up
Paper: Authentique - Lively Collection
Spellbinders - Ovals & Fancy Tags
Borders - Martha Stewart Double Loop Punch
Butterfly - Magnolia Swirly Butterfly Doohickey Die
Candi - Craftworks - colored with Copics
Ribbon - from my stash

Image was colored with Copic markers:
Flower pots: E29, E97, E99, E08
Basket: E33, E35, E31, E53, E50
Greens: YG99, YG63, YG63, YG61
Cans: T9, T7, T5, T3, T1
Chair: E49, E47, E44, E43, E42
Spade: E27, E23
Oranges: E79, E15, YR07, YR04, YR000
Purples: BV08, BV04, V01, W9

1st Place in Western Washington Fair (Puyallup Fair)

Hello my fellow bloggers!  I have some great news to share today!  A few weeks ago I entered a card I created and colored with my Copics into the Western Washington Fair aka the Puyallup Fair and guess what?  I WON!  I got 1st place in the card category!  Yippee!  I have posted the card previously but have a picutre below of the card on display at the fair with the pretty blue ribbon (haha!).  The picture quality is not the best because it is in a glass display case and there was a lot of glare.  Anyway....just wanted to share my good news!

Happy Bee Day Tiddly Inks Card

Hello my followers and Copic lovers!  Today I am posting a card that was made on special request by my sister in law.  It is a darling Tiddly Inks image called Happy Bee Day!  I just fell in love with this image when I first saw it and couldn't wait to ink it up!  When my SIL saw the image she just had to have a card for a special someone in her life!  So enough about that....onto the card.

Tiddly Inks Digital Stamp; Happy Bee Day; Copic Coloring; Copic Shading; Copic Cards

My image was colored up with Copics of course which are listed below:

Outfit - YR24, YR21, YR20, E79, E77, E74, E71

Wings - W0, W00
Grass - YG17, YG67, YG63, YG91, YG93
Butterfly - YR16, Y15, Y11, Y00, W5 (for body)

The papers were from My Minds Eye Lost & Found Sunshine Collection.  I used a MS floral vine punch, Spellbinders fancy tags (on the inside), various flowers from Wild Orchid crafts and my personal stash.  The tulle was a piece from my stash that I colored with a YR23 Copic marker and tied into a bow and placed a rolled rose on top and then put a half pearl in the center.  I also tucked  a small piece of Tim Holtz film strip ribbon into the flowers on the front next to the hat pin.

Here is a peek at the inside....

Now here is where I am venturing out into something new......

I would like to enter this into the following challenges (something I have never done before):

Halloween Card Added to September Classes at Bonney Lake

Hello all!  Just wanted to let you know that I will soon be issuing my September class schedule for September for the Bonney Lake Ben Franklin Store.  I will be adding a new card this month so you can start on those Halloween cards.  I know.....Halloween already?  Yep....it's closer than you think!  Here is a sneak peak of the card we will be making.

Copic, Halloween, Cards, Copic Classes, Rubber stamp coloring
The image I used is from Northwoods Rubber Stmps from Ben Franklin Crafts.
Copics used were:  E08,YR14,YR16,Y17 (pumpkins) YG63,YG61,Y13 (leaves) E31,E33 (ground) BG0000 (sky).  I added Stickles stardust to the bird, although it doesn't look that great in the picture.  I also colored the pleated organza ribbon with my Copic YR14 marker so it would match my image.  Hope you all have a great evening!

Copic Classes Expanding to Monroe Ben Franklin

It is now official!  Starting in September I will be teaching Copic Classes at the Monroe Ben Franklin Store!  I know it is quite a drive, but I am really excited to be able to share my love of this craft with even more people!  Spread the word.....I would love to see the classrooms filled! I will be starting with 2 Copic Cards 101 Classes in September.  Why wait so long to start you ask?  We need to ensure we have enough time to market the classes and get the word out to all of the customers that may be interested in taking the classes.  I just finished the sample card I will be teaching for the Monroe Store.  It is a beautiful rubber stamp by Inkadinkado called Ribbon and Rose.   I used the following Copic colors:  R89, R39, R29, R27; YG61,YG63,YG67 and added Stickles stardust to the whited flowers.     I will be sending the sample off to the store but wanted to get it on my blog so you all could get a look.  The classes in September are scheduled for:  September 21 1-3pm and September 25 12-2pm.  The cost of the class is $30 plus supplies.  I would love to see you there.  You can register for the class in store or online here

Angelina's Balloons

Hello my fellow Copic lovers!  What a gorgeous day!  I totally forgot to upload this card last week so I figured I'd get it on here now while I am thinking about it.  This is a digital image from Mo Manning called Angelina's Balloons.  She was colored with Copics as usual and embellished with lots of goodies from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I will have to come back and update with the Copic colors I used as I don't have those in front of me right now.  She was such fun to color!
