Copic Ciao Cap Template and Organization

Hello all!  Recently one of my students came to class with her Ciao markers all organized and color coded...my were labeled but not color coded and I was jealous!  So....I went digging and found where she got her template so I thought I would share with all of you!

Thanks to Asela Hopkins from Hop Art Studio she has created a template that you can download for your Copic Ciao caps.  I did this with all of my Ciao markers and I love it.  Makes it so easy to find.  I have listed the link here for easy access. Just click Copic Ciao Lid Label Template

Here are the steps:
1) printed on Neenah Solar White cardstock
2) additional step I did that I got from my student Yara: color each of them with the corresponding color so you can easily see what color you are getting when you pull it from the shelf
3) punched out each with a hole punch
4) used a glue dot to adhere and bam....you are done!  Easy...peasy, right?

I hope to be back in the swing of things again posting cards and such.  Sorry for being MIA for so long!

A Little Mo Manning and Make it Crafty Love

Hello my blogging friends!  You've probably thought I  threw in the towel by now since it has been forever since I have posted anything, huh?  Well, I am still here!  Life just happened....you know family, teaching Copic classes, then the holidays came and it all became a big blur!  I promise with the New Year to be much better about posting my coloring even if I don't yet have them made into a card or project yet so you at least have something to look at!

So, without further adieu, I give you one of my favorite projects I created for my in-laws to give as a gift for their friends for a 50th wedding anniversary.  I used Mo Manning's (Mo's Digital Pencil) Soldier Boy and Shirley digi stamps and layered them in Photoshop Elements with Make it Crafty's Tree of Love digi stamp to create the scene.  I also added in the initials of the couple on the tree to personalize it for the recipient.

Here is the Boxelope I created for the card to be presented in. I added a chipboard key that I covered in white crackle paint, added a WOC rose, some pearls and a tag to finish off the shear white bow.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by and reading through this long post.  Hope to see you again soon!

Sweet November Stamps Preview Day Three Angel Harmony

Good morning all!  I sure hope you all have enjoyed the past few days of the Sweet November October previews and that I have given you some inspiration too!  Today marks the last day of my guest appearance and before I introduce you to the newest image, I want to sincerely thank the creator of these wonderful images, Amy Young, for this wonderful opportunity she has given me!  I have had a blast working along side of her and her Sweet November Gals, Marion and Nancy!

Now, on to the good stuff!  I introduce you to.....Harmony!  Amy has really created a wonderful theme with these angels of peace, love, joy and happiness! Perfect for this holiday season!  I did something  little different with Harmony in that I paper pieced her dress, which I have never done before.  I used a embossing pen and outlined the swirls and then heat embossed with UTEE ( for those that don't know UTEE is Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel).  I just wanted to try something a little different than just coloring everything all the time, so I would love any feedback on this! You can't really see it in the picture but I added Spica pen to both the horn and wings.

Sweet November Stamps Preview Day Two Angel Noelle

Good morning everyone and welcome to day two of the Sweet November stamps preview for October.  Today I would like to introduce you to a very sweet new angel called Noelle.  She is so precious!  Just sitting there holding her little lamb without a care in the world!  Wow!  I wish I could feel as peaceful as she looks!  My card for today is a little subdued for me.  I usually put a lot of flowers and other embellishments on my cards but this time I really wanted to keep the focus on sweet Noelle.

BTW.....I am still trying to learn how to do pleats so don't look to closely....haha!

Sweet November Stamps Guest Gal Snowflake Fairy Neva

Hello my fellow crafters and Copic lovers!  What a wonderful weekend we had!  Just a little bit of rain but then the sun came out and it tuned out beautiful!

Today I am so excited to share with you a card I completed for a spotlight that is being done on me through Amy Young, creator of Sweet November Stamps.  You can check it out at here.  Every summer my family goes to Lake Chelan for vacation.  I met Amy a couple years ago and I have been so fortunate to have colored with her a couple of times.  This past summer she asked me if I would be a guest designer (a Sweet November Gal)  for her stamps for October.  I was so elated....of course I said yes!  It has been a long wait since then but we are finally here, so without further adieu.....

This image is called Snowflake Fairy Neva.   I just love all of the Sweet November stamps, but this one especially caught my eye as I love the peacefulness of snow and the beauty of this girl combined with the snowflake just melts my heart.

Garden Easel Card Cornish Heritage Farms

Hello fellow bloggers and followers!  Today I have a card I created on commission for my sister in law.  She asked me to do something "gardening" so this is what I came up with.  I found a great digital image at Cornish Heritage Farms called Garden Chair which I used as my focal point.  I created a Telescoping Image by printing the image twice and coloring both images.  There are lots of tutorials out there for this but maybe some day I will create my own.  In the end I created an easel card (sorry, some of the pictures are a little crooked).

Copic markers; copic coloring, handmade cards, spellbinders; wild orchid crafts; cornish heritage farms cards; copic colored cards
Side view of the easel card.

Close up of the Wild Orchid Craft flower embellishments and my handmade hat pin.

Sentiment - Stampin' Up
Paper: Authentique - Lively Collection
Spellbinders - Ovals & Fancy Tags
